About The Position

The HIM Forms Governance Coordinator is a member of the Health Information Management team who supports the organization’s enterprise forms governance and management program. The position coordinates the development, review, maintenance, and lifecycle management of clinical and administrative forms to promote standardization, regulatory compliance, and effective forms management across the health system. Under the direction of HIM leadership and in collaboration with the HIM Project Coordinator and organizational stakeholders, the coordinator helps maintain the centralized forms repository, supports governance workflows, and ensures forms remain current, accurate, appropriately approved, and available to support operational and patient care needs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of experience in HIM, healthcare operations, document management, or administrative coordination.
• Four years of experience in HIM, healthcare operations, document management, or administrative coordination may be substituted for the required education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development, review, maintenance, and lifecycle management of clinical and administrative forms.
• Support the organization’s enterprise forms governance and management program.
• Maintain the centralized forms repository.
• Support forms governance workflows.
• Help ensure forms are current, accurate, appropriately approved, and available for operational and patient care needs.
