About The Position

Provides support for the enterprise electronic health record (EHR). This person ensures that all Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin inpatient and ambulatory records are located within the EHR through accurate prepping, scanning, and indexing of medical records while meeting turnaround-times and quality and performance standards. Performs quality checks on documentation received from clinical departments. Properly cleans and maintains scanners and reports hardware and software scanning equipment problems. Provide weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of computers and scanning equipment.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality standards.
• Detail oriented.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 1 year of Health Information Management experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
