About The Position
Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a Health Information Assistant to provide operational excellence and genuine care in a team environment. The Health Information Management (HIM) Department manages patient health records and ensures that health information is complete, accurate, and available to legitimate users. The department also protects patient privacy, provides information security, complies with standards and regulations regarding health information, and administers health information computer systems. Ohana Pacific Health is Hawaii's largest locally owned post-acute healthcare company. Requirements
- At least 1 year of health information experience in any healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential preferred, but not required.
