About The Position
HighTech Bound is a paid four to six-week summer program at The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) designed for students entering their senior year of High School. The program provides an exciting opportunity for ambitious high school students to experience software development in a real-world environment.
Requirements
- Entering Senior year of high school
- Available to work 40 hours/week during summer
- Must pass a pre-employment background check

Responsibilities
- Work in a computer lab with dedicated mentors who will guide you through an exciting summer, working on a team to create a solution for an assigned project.
- Work with the latest technologies in software and hardware projects that are used in well-known companies.
- Research solutions and contribute to a tech project that will be used for years.
- Take part in a unique, hands-on experience to complete an assigned project.
- Develop real-world technical skills.
- Work with technology used in smart cars, internet devices, and more.
- Problem solve with new technologies.
- Prepare for an education in the technology field.
- Opportunities for employment after the program.
- Earn .5 high school credit through Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACS).
