Engineer 1/2/Sr/Sr 2/Principal - High Voltage Engineering
About The Position
This is a multi-level posting for a High Voltage Engineer, which will be filled at the appropriate level based on education and experience. The role provides engineering services for the design and construction of high voltage line project additions to MidAmerican Energy Company's energy delivery system. It also involves technical project management for certain phases of a high voltage line project, including scheduling, design, cost estimates, engineering specifications, drawings, materials procurement, construction contracts, cost tracking, and project cost projections. The position assists with engineering studies and investigations, prepares oral and written reports, and provides high voltage engineering assistance to other departments. Additionally, it offers technical input for project planning, applying prescribed methods and standard practices in specific tasks within high voltage line projects, and assisting engineering staff on more complex projects. This is considered the entry engineer skill level position in high voltage engineering.

Responsibilities
