About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking a High Support Needs Direct Support Professional for a fee-for-service (FFS) position. The role implements clients’ behavior support plans to reduce challenging behaviors and provides ABA-based instruction to help clients develop new skills under the direction of a supervising BCBA. The professional monitors client behavior, collects behavioral data, and communicates observations and progress to the client’s care team. The role also collaborates with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support meaningful, lasting behavioral change. Compensation is hourly, from $16.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on program, education, and experience. The posting also advertises a stay-on bonus of up to $500 after 120 days.

Requirements

At least five years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional-age youth, or families.
Experience supporting adolescents requiring comprehensive levels of care.
Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
Availability to work after-school and evening hours.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Compassionate, person-centered approach to care.

Nice To Haves

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) preferred.
Experience implementing behavioral interventions in applied settings preferred.
