About The Position

Match Charter Public School is seeking a High School Student Aide for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a 1-1 aide position supporting a male student with physical needs, including bathroom support. The Student Aide will support students with disabilities by helping implement skills and goals aligned with their educational and therapeutic needs. Responsibilities include supporting students during instructional and non-instructional times, fostering an inclusive community, and developing a strong relationship with the student to ensure they meet their academic and personal potential. This full-time position is based at Match High School in Brighton, MA.

Requirements

Prior experience working with students with disabilities.
Prior experience as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) or health aide.
A deep belief that all students can and will succeed and a willingness to do whatever it takes.
An incredible amount of patience and willingness to go the extra mile.
A desire to continually improve their practice as an educator by taking and implementing feedback.
Demonstrate an ability to work well on a team, and a willingness to support others in doing their best work.

Responsibilities

Provide 1-1 aide support for a male student with physical needs, including bathroom support.
Support the implementation of skills and goals in line with the student's educational and therapeutic needs.
Support the student during instructional times both in and out of the classroom.
Support the student during lunch, breaks, and other non-instructional times.
Develop a deep relationship with the student.
Leverage relationships to ensure students are getting the support they need to meet their academic and personal potential.
Foster an inclusive community.
Support student skill development and social-emotional growth.
