About The Position
CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a High School Special Education Teacher, LTS at St. Charles Each High School. The anticipated dates for this Long Term Substitute (LTS) position are from 8/10/26 to 9/11/26. To be considered for this role, a Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement is required. Alternatively, to work as part of our Substitute Team, candidates will need a Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL) or an Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB), which requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Please note that Short Term Substitute Teaching Licenses are not accepted in D303. The Long Term Substitute Teacher rate is $220 per day. In addition to the online application, candidates must provide a valid Substitute or PEL license, two letters of reference, and a fingerprint-based background check from the Kane County ROE. Requirements
