About The Position
CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a High School Science Teacher, LTS (Long-Term Substitute) for the 26-27 school year at St. Charles East High School. This position requires a PEL with a (9-12) Biology Endorsement. The anticipated dates for this LTS assignment are from August 10, 2026, to December 18, 2026. To be considered for our Substitute Team, candidates must possess either a Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL) or an Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB), which requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution. Short Term Substitute Teaching Licenses are not accepted in D303. The Long Term Substitute Teacher rate is $220 per day. In addition to the online application, candidates must provide a valid Substitute or PEL license, two letters of reference, and a fingerprint-based background check from the Kane County ROE. Interested candidates should complete the Kane County Human Resources Consortium online application process and upload all required materials to the Kane County Regional Office of Education.
