About The Position

The High School Science Teacher is a state-certified educator who delivers course content in an online environment. Teachers provide instruction, support, and guidance; manage the learning process; and address students’ individual needs. They monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system and work closely with students and parents or learning coaches to advance learning toward established goals. Teachers typically work from home and must travel occasionally for school functions, including state testing and professional development. This is a full-time, remote position for candidates who reside in Oklahoma. The teacher must maintain a professional home office without distractions and be available during the workday, typically 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role requires the ability to work independently, typically 40 or more hours per week, and travel as required—on average once per month and/or approximately 20% of the time. Insight School of Oklahoma’s mission is to provide an individualized, engaging educational experience through school and community/family partnerships, a rigorous curriculum, and a data-driven, student-centered instructional model. Stride K12 provides families with an online option for personalized education.
