Rocky Mountain Prep is seeking a dedicated secondary science teacher, specifically for High School Physics, for the 2026/2027 school year, with staff reporting to summer PD in July 2026 and the school year starting in August 2026. The approach to teaching high school science focuses on providing rigorous instruction in an engaging, supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will promote students in asking questions, defining problems, planning and carrying out investigations, analyzing and interpreting data, using mathematical and computational thinking, constructing explanations and designing solutions, engaging in argument from evidence, and obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information as described in the Next Generation Science Standards. The science teacher will be an integral part of the educational team, working collaboratively to ensure the academic success of students through the implementation of the RMP Science Academic Program & Resources.
