About The Position

Brooke Charter Schools is seeking a High School Multilingual Learner Coordinator - ESL Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a part-time role within a network of four public charter schools serving grades K-12. The school network focuses on coaching and investing in teachers to help students achieve at high levels and graduate from college, believing that academic achievement empowers students to live choice-filled lives and contribute to creating a just world. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Valid Massachusetts ESL teaching license.
Commitment to fostering diversity by cultivating anti-racist practices and removing bias.
Empower students with the resources they need to create choice-filled lives for themselves and their futures.
Ability to build a joyful classroom culture where students are held to high behavioral and academic expectations.
Professional, warm, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues.
Ability to start in July of 2026.

Responsibilities

Coordinate ESL services and provide direct instruction to small groups of students.
Develop clear and measurable English language proficiency goals and track student success.
Assist in coordinating and administering state-mandated and ML identification assessments.
Coordinate redesignation assessments.
Monitor EML (Exiting Multilingual Learner) students.
Keep ML records in compliance with DESE regulations.
Collaborate with teachers to ensure high-quality sheltered content instruction is provided.
Share best practices with the instructional team.
