High School Math Tutor – I-Poly
About The Position
Tutor Partners is seeking experienced, qualified high school math tutors to provide in-person tutoring services in partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) at specialized high schools. The role supports students during the school day at International Polytechnic High School. Tutors provide small-group and push-in math support, track student progress, participate in instructional planning and assessments, and coordinate with teachers, school leaders, Tutor Partners staff, and site personnel. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., starting now through the end of the 2026–27 school year. The pay rate is $20–$30 per hour.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or a minimum of 24 college credits.
- Experience working with K-12 students.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to pass required background clearances, such as LiveScan/fingerprinting, as required by LACOE.
- Reliable transportation to the assigned site.
