About The Position

Tutor Partners is hiring High School Math Tutors to support 9th- and 10th-grade students at DuVal High School. Tutors co-teach with a lead teacher in classes of up to 25 students and lead small-group instruction to help students close learning gaps in Algebra 1 and Geometry. They plan lessons with their assigned co-teacher, support Multilingual Learners (MLL) and Special Education (SPED) students using ELD and SPED strategies, and help students prepare for MCAP state assessments. Tutors also use digital learning tools and track student progress data.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday through May 6, 2027. Mondays and Wednesdays are about five hours per day, including Power Hour and daytime push-in. Tuesdays and Thursdays are about seven hours per day, including Power Hour, daytime push-in, and Success Academy. The position starts ASAP and pays $20–$30 per hour. Requirements

• Experience teaching or tutoring high school Algebra 1 and/or Geometry.
• Strong understanding and use of the 7 ELD and SPED strategies.
• Availability for the full Monday-to-Thursday schedule.

Responsibilities
