About The Position

Catapult Learning is seeking a High School Math Teacher for the 2026-27 school year to provide targeted remedial instruction in a small group format in Philadelphia non-public high schools. The role involves being an advocate, difference maker, and mentor to students, guiding and empowering them to be their best. The company provides a proven curriculum and ongoing support to help teachers be wholly present and equipped to do what they love.

Requirements

Current active PA teaching certificate preferred but not required
Strong background in a mathematics or experience in a math-related field (ex: engineering, accounting)
Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening.

Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

Differentiate Instruction: Customize and deliver lessons and use data to meet student needs.
Engage Students: Foster ownership, critical thinking, and clear routines.
Grow Professionally: Embrace training, coaching, and feedback.
Track Progress: Maintain accurate student and academic records.
Work with small groups of 6-8 students
Ensure supervision of students to assure their safety
Meet with Catapult Learning Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents
Maintain inventory of teaching materials and supplies
Other duties as assigned
