About The Position

We are currently looking to fill a High School Marketing Intern to join our client’s marketing team this summer. The ideal candidate(s) will be tasked with supporting the efforts of the selected insurance agency’s marketing campaigns.

Requirements

Highly organized self-starter who’s capable of working cross-functionally on the planning and the implementation of marketing projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts
Excellent time management skills
Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
Ability to spot emerging trends
Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines
Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong writing and copy-editing abilities
Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
Assist in the implementation of the company’s brand strategy
Assist with social media and website content.
Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
Organize and manage marketing collateral
Perform market research, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends
