About The Position
REGIONAL WEST IS SEEKING MOTIVATED HIGH SCHOOL AND ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION STUDENTS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN EXPLORING CAREERS IN HEALTHCARE THROUGH A PAID, WORK-BASED LEARNING SUMMER INTERNSHIP. INTERNS ARE PART-TIME REGIONAL WEST EMPLOYEES AND WILL GAIN HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN BOTH CLINICAL AND NON-CLINICAL DEPARTMENTS.
Requirements
- Must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior (including alternative education students)
- Interested in exploring career options in healthcare
- Available to work 16 hours per week for the duration of the program
- Able to complete the application requirements, including: Online application, Resume, Short essay
