About The Position

Community Impact Programs is now hiring for the High School Liaison with the Youth Outreach program! CIP is a community-based social services organization seeking talented professionals to join their team. The Youth Outreach program facilitates a team of Liaisons at elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the Kenosha Unified School District to support youth who are at risk of academic failure, dropout, truancy, delinquency, gang involvement, and/or drug or alcohol abuse. As the High School Liaison, you will work with students and families to promote educational success through intervention and support services at assigned high schools within KUSD. This role is year-round and will continue full-time employment during the summer.

Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related.

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and review individual client treatment plans.
  • Monitor client behavior and school achievement by conducting daily in-school checks.
  • Organize structured group, individual, and family education or treatment, and recreational activities.
  • Update parents/guardians on client progress and provide problem-solving interactions.
  • Provide supervision and support to youth placed in the Summer Youth Employment Program.
  • Attend court hearings with client and family as needed.
