About The Position
Community Impact Programs is seeking a passionate High School Liaison for the Youth Outreach program. This role supports at-risk students in achieving their potential within the Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD). The program aims to prevent academic failure, dropout, truancy, delinquency, and issues related to gang involvement or substance abuse. The High School Liaison will work with students and families to promote educational success through intervention and support services at assigned high schools.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related.
Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and review individual client treatment plans.
- Monitor client behavior and school achievement by conducting daily in-school checks.
- Organize structured group, individual, and family education or treatment, and recreational activities.
- Update parents/guardians on client progress and provide problem-solving interactions.
- Provide supervision and support to youth placed in the Summer Youth Employment Program.
- Attend court hearings with client and family as needed.
