About The Position

The School District of Onalaska is seeking a passionate, community-minded Family-School Liaison. This role is to bridge the gap between home and school, connecting families with vital resources to help students thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. This is a 190-day contract position with flexibility for summer hours and school-year breaks. While designed as a full-time role, the district is open to a job-share arrangement for two qualified part-time applicants. The ideal candidate will have a background in social work or a related field, a commitment to cultural humility, and a passion for helping families succeed.

Requirements

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field (required)
Willing to work flexible hours to meet family needs.

Understanding of how school systems, community services, and family dynamics intersect, and wants to use their specialized background to help kids thrive by ensuring their families are supported.
