About The Position

Community Impact Programs is now hiring for the Middle School Liaison with the Youth Outreach program! CIP is a community-based social services organization seeking talented professionals to join their team. The Youth Outreach program facilitates a team of Liaisons at elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the Kenosha Unified School District to support youth who are at risk of academic failure, dropout, truancy, delinquency, gang involvement, and/or drug or alcohol abuse. As the Middle School Liaison, you will work with students and families to promote educational success through intervention and support services at assigned middle schools within KUSD. Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related is required.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and review individual client treatment plans.
• Monitor client behavior and school achievement by conducting daily in-school checks.
• Organize structured group, individual/family education or treatment, and recreational activities.
• Update parents/guardians on client progress and provide problem-solving interactions.
• Attend court hearings with client and family as needed.
• Provide supervision and support to youth placed in the Summer Youth Employment Program.
