About The Position
Vanguard Classical School is seeking a High School History Teacher to provide a rigorous education grounded in the Core Knowledge Curriculum Sequence and taught in the classical style. The teacher will help students develop academically and personally in a supportive environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and participation. The school operates on a four-day class schedule, allowing greater flexibility and collaboration among staff. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that address diverse learning styles and give all students opportunities to excel.
- Maintain accurate gradebooks and provide timely feedback to students and parents about progress and areas for growth.
- Uphold the school's values of Honor, Achievement, World Citizenship, and Kindness in and outside the classroom.
- Enforce school rules and expectations to create a safe and respectful learning environment where students feel valued and supported.
