About The Position

This position is for a High School English Teacher at a diverse, private school in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves providing on-campus, classroom instruction for middle and/or high school students. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, in keeping with the academic schedule. The position starts on Monday, July 27, 2026.

Requirements

• Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning students progress
• Working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success
• Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills

Nice To Haves

• Previously Taught in a Florida Public or Private School for 3 or more years

Responsibilities

• Providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of cultural backgrounds
• Ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior
• Prepare and follow class appropriate Lesson Plans
