About The Position
To provide on campus, classroom instruction for middle and/or high school students in a diverse, private school in Jacksonville, Florida.
Requirements
- Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning students progress
- Working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success
- Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills
Nice To Haves
- Previously Taught in a Florida Public or Private School for 3 or more years
- Bachelor's Degree (4 years from an accredited university)
Responsibilities
- Providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of cultural backgrounds
- Ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior
- Prepare and follow class appropriate Lesson Plans
Benefits
- Base Salary is negotiable between $38,000 - $41,000, a year (prorated based on start date)
- Participation in 403(b) Retirement Plan is available immediately, upon hire
