The major responsibilities of this position entail all bookkeeping procedures involved in maintaining internal activity accounts, collection of all monies, writing checks and banking, processing supply requisitions and repair work orders, maintaining supply and equipment inventories, working with bookstore and fundraising sales, and possibly assisting with budget control. The person in this position also has the shared responsibility for typing correspondence, notices, announcements, and numerous other reports; maintaining child accounting and immunization records, making appointments involving school personnel and parents, and other duties as assigned. Livonia Public Schools employs approximately 1,800 staff members, serving approximately 13,100 students pre-K – post secondary.
