2026 San Francisco Giants High School Ambassador Program
About The Position
The San Francisco Giants are launching their 3rd annual High School Ambassador Program, offering students aged 16-17 real-world job experience at Oracle Park during the summer. This program is designed for students curious about working behind the scenes in professional baseball and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. The Giants particularly encourage students who may not have had an easy pathway into sports or live entertainment to apply, emphasizing that a perfect resume is not required, but rather a great attitude, excitement to learn, and willingness to try new things. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sports and entertainment industry, working with new people as part of a team. The program runs from June to August, coinciding with Giants home games.
Requirements
- Must be 16 or 17 years old by June 17th, 2026
- Must be able to work between 15 -20 hours when the team is playing at Oracle Park, including nights and weekends
- Must commit to the full program from June 17th to August 14th, 2026
- Must be available to attend the Ambassador Welcome Day on June 17th, 2026
- Must have valid documents for employment and obtain a work permit (Document from your school that allows you to work while in high school. Your Admin and/or Counselor can help you get one)
- Curious about the sports and entertainment industry
- Enjoy working with new people and being part of a team
- Looking for hands-on experience in a real-world job
- Entering your junior or senior year of high school
- Ready to step into a fun, fast-paced, and welcoming environment

Responsibilities
- Help run pre-game and in-game activities (lucky rows, game shows, t-shirt toss)
- Be the heartbeat of game day energy
- Support set-up before games and events (e.g., operations, equipment, etc.)
- Assist with client and vendor load-in/load-out for selected events
- Help set up and organize spaces for exciting events and game-day experiences
- Promote Go-Ahead Entry, the ballpark’s facial authentication entry program
- Answer frequently asked questions about the process and technology
- Assist fans with enrollment and troubleshoot basic issues
- Bring a blend of high energy, friendliness, engagement and professionalism
