About The Position

The San Francisco Giants are launching their 3rd annual High School Ambassador Program, offering students aged 16-17 real-world job experience at Oracle Park during the summer. This program is designed for students curious about professional baseball operations, seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, and especially encourages those who may not have had an easy pathway into sports or live entertainment. A great attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to try new things are valued over a perfect resume.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 or 17 years old by June 17th, 2026.
  • Must be entering junior or senior year of high school.
  • Must be able to work between 15-20 hours per week when the team is playing at Oracle Park.
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends.
  • Must commit to the full program from June 17th to August 14th, 2026.
  • Must be available to attend the Ambassador Welcome Day on June 17th, 2026.
  • Must have valid documents for employment and obtain a work permit (document from school allowing work while in high school).
  • Must be curious about the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Must enjoy working with new people and being part of a team.
  • Must be looking for hands-on experience in a real-world job.
  • Must be ready to step into a fun, fast-paced, and welcoming environment.
  • Must be able to commit to working from June to August (Giants home games).

Responsibilities

  • Help run pre-game and in-game activities (lucky rows, game shows, t-shirt toss) as a G-Team Ambassador.
  • Be the heartbeat of game day energy and ready to move, as this is a physical role that includes running around the stadium.
  • Support set-up before games and events, including operations and equipment, as an Event Operations Ambassador.
  • Assist with client and vendor load-in/load-out for selected events.
  • Help set up and organize spaces for exciting events and game-day experiences.
  • Promote Go-Ahead Entry, the ballpark’s facial authentication entry program, as a Go-Ahead Entry Ambassador.
  • Answer frequently asked questions about the Go-Ahead Entry process and technology.
  • Assist fans with enrollment and troubleshoot basic issues related to the Go-Ahead Entry program.
  • Bring a blend of high energy, friendliness, engagement, and professionalism to the role.
