About The Position

The High Reach Forklift Driver uses a stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role supports the handling and storage of food products in warehouse environments, including cold and dry storage facilities.

Requirements

Basic math skills.
Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Put away palletized units by lifting forks to place them in racks above floor height.
Pick palletized units from rack locations above floor height and prepare them for outbound shipment.
Choose and record food-item materials, weight, counts, and condition using a Radio Frequency (RF) system.
Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
Complete daily forklift maintenance and check sheets.
Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station.
Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
