About The Position

Use a stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. This role handles palletized goods in rack locations, prepares products for outbound shipment, records item information through an RF system, and performs routine equipment and battery care. The position may also involve operating other machinery and material-handling equipment.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold-storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry-storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kg; the required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks to place them in racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units from rack locations above floor height and set them up for outbound shipment.
• Select and record food-item materials, weight, counts, and condition using a Radio Frequency (RF) system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete the daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and leave material-handling equipment at the proper charging station.
• Work with other machinery and material-handling equipment.
• Follow applicable regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
