About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, the HHA/Caregiver provides hands-on support to residents while building meaningful relationships and helping improve their quality of life. The role supports residents’ safety, dignity, and independence, and may include creating enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to obtain it.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote residents’ safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
