About The Position

The HHA provides personalized, compassionate home health care to older adult clients in their own homes across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. The agency is a Medicare-certified home health agency offering concierge-level services focused on safety, dignity, respect, and helping clients age gracefully. The role includes homemaking, personal care, safety monitoring, health monitoring, and companionship. The agency is seeking full-time HHAs and describes itself as an equal opportunity workplace.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of homecare experience.
• Two professional references and one personal reference.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• Automobile insurance and a valid CPR card.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks and drug screens.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds daily, stand for long periods, and maintain and regain balance.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years of experience caring for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to clients in their own homes.
• Perform homemaking tasks, including meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and making beds.
• Use fall-prevention techniques to help keep clients safe.
• Monitor clients’ health by checking vital signs and reminding them to take medications.
• Assist clients with personal care, including grooming, dressing, and bathing.
• Provide companionship, including running errands with clients, collecting their mail, and playing games.
