English Speaking HHA/CNA Needed in Aventura

About The Position

Right at Home’s Miami office is seeking experienced, professional Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care to clients in Aventura. Caregivers assist clients with activities of daily living, meal preparation, errands and appointments, housekeeping, and patient-specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse. Requirements

Home Health Aide certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant certification (required).
Valid driver’s license and insured automobile (required).
At least one year of experience as a caregiver or Home Health Aide in healthcare, in homes or facilities (recommended).
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job (recommended).

Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathroom or bedpan use, bathing, oral care, shaving, and skin and hair care.
Assist patients with ambulation and transfers, eating, dressing, and shaving.
Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
Accompany patients on errands or to medical appointments.
Perform housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
Perform patient-specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse, including medication reminders, prescribed range-of-motion exercises, measuring and preparing special diets, dementia care, and incontinence care.
