About The Position
At Lake Seminole Square, we believe great caregivers come from many backgrounds. Already a CNA or HHA? We'd love to meet you. Not certified yet, but have a heart for helping others? We'll provide the training and support needed to become a Home Health Aide and start a meaningful career helping older adults live independently and confidently. As a Caregiver with our Innovative Home Services (IHS) team, you'll do more than provide assistance with daily tasks. You'll build relationships, brighten someone's day, offer reassurance during challenging moments, and become an important part of a resident's support system. If you're compassionate, dependable, and enjoy connecting with others, this could be the perfect role for you.
Requirements
- Must meet all employment requirements
Nice To Haves
- Current CNA, HHA, or caregiving experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
- Help residents remain independent, safe, and confident
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation as needed
- Observe and report changes in resident condition or needs
- Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Deliver care with compassion, dignity, and respect
