About The Position

Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, Nebraska, is hiring a Herm Seal Operator for the sealing operation. The operator is responsible for properly sealing hermetic resistor products and producing products that meet specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations. The role involves using an induction coil attached to a Lepel unit, inspecting products visually and through a microscope, and making efficient equipment setup adjustments. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; overtime is available as needed. Applicants must qualify as a “U.S. Person” under the applicable U.S. federal regulations because the position involves access to export-controlled information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately interpret specifications.
• Ability to lift 5 to 10 pounds.
• Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” as defined under applicable U.S. federal law, such as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

• Seal hermetic resistors using an induction coil attached to a Lepel unit.
• Produce high-quality sealed products in accordance with specifications and customer expectations.
• Set up equipment and make adjustments based on visual inspection of produced products.
• View product through a microscope.
