About The Position

This role is at Ascension St. John's Medical Center in the Dialysis Department. The schedule is PRN, with hours from 7 am to 7 pm, and flexibility for partial shifts. The technician will ensure patient safety and comfort during hemodialysis, maintain and operate dialysis equipment, collaborate with nurses and physicians, and educate patients and their families about the dialysis process.

Requirements

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Hemodialysis Tech credentialed from the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) obtained within 18 Months (1.5 years) of hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
