About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is hiring a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to lead the launch of a new practice at its Manatee HealthHub, an outpatient facility scheduled to open in Summer 2026. The role will help build early patient volume and lay the foundation for a future competitive and comprehensive cancer program. Establishing services before the hospital opens is intended to support referral relationships, connect with patients early in their treatment journeys, and build brand recognition and a patient base. Alongside clinic visits, the physician will begin building a patient panel requiring chemotherapy and infusion services. Until BayCare Hospital Manatee opens, infusion volumes will be directed to St. Joseph's Hospital-South. The 45,000-square-foot HealthHub will house primary care and specialty services, as well as laboratory and imaging services including 3T MRI, X-ray, CT, PET CT, mammography, DEXA, and ultrasound. The HealthHub is on the campus of BayCare Hospital Manatee, a 154-bed facility scheduled to open in 2028.

Requirements

Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology.
Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
