About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Hematology/Oncology Clinical Trials Director. The successful candidate will practice in South Charleston, WV, in the areas of Hematology/Oncology. As a full member of our WVU Health System, Thomas Hospital is part of a broad, integrated network of doctors, hospitals, clinics, and specialized institutes. The successful candidate will practice General Hematology and Medical Oncology at Thomas Hospital and will serve as the region’s Clinical Trials Director.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible for state medical license.
- Completed an Internal Medicine residency program.
- Completed a Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
- Board certified/eligible.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the areas of Hematology/Oncology.
- Serve as the region’s Clinical Trials Director.
