About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Hematologist/Oncologist in Fort Myers, Florida. The role is in an outpatient setting and requires coverage from October 8, 2026, through the summer of 2027. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with 5 shifts per week. The facility has support staff including Physician Assistants, MAs, and RNs. Hospital privileges are required, with a credentialing timeline of 30 days.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC) in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Florida Medical License
- Procedure log requirements met
- Clean background and NPDB
- Up-to-date CV and Lee Attestation Form required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care
- Collaborate with physician assistants, medical assistants, and registered nurses
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Adhere to all credentialing and compliance requirements
- Participate in procedure log documentation as required
