About The Position

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Driver Helper to accompany a Route Driver on pickups of used tires from retail locations. The helper and driver work as a two-person team, manually loading and stacking tires onto the truck. Tires can weigh up to 50 pounds. The helper also supports safe, timely pickups by assisting with inspections, maintaining a clear and organized truck and work area, communicating with store staff and the driver, and helping navigate established routes.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor for extended periods.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with the Route Driver.
Understanding of and commitment to following safety procedures.
Dependability in adhering to scheduled routes and work hours.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with store staff and co-workers.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate and safe tire loading and securement.
One year of driving experience.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry.
