About The Position

The Helper 2 is responsible for performing helper duties in support of an assigned crew. The role assists with determining material needs from blueprints and specifications, ordering materials, scheduling equipment, managing work orders and account numbers, and receiving and distributing materials and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the industrial construction or maintenance industry.
• Knowledge of maintenance and construction materials.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work, including locations and quantities and sizes of required materials.
• Order materials when required.
• Schedule equipment through the proper protocol.
• Set up, charge, and add all work orders and account numbers.
• Receive and inspect materials and equipment, help unload them, and distribute them.
