About The Position

Pomerene Hospital, located in Millersburg, Ohio, is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving the region with a patient-centered approach. The PMG Help Desk Technician will be the primary point of contact for all PMG locations regarding the help desk ticket and phone system, responsible for user account management, password resets, and troubleshooting various technical issues.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma/GED.
Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and communications skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks in level of criticality.
General knowledge of working fundamentals, patch management, web-based and on-premises software support.
Strong organizational skills and familiarity with a help desk ticket system.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of an associate's degree in information systems or related field.
CompTia and/or MicroSoft Certifications.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for all PMG locations regarding the help desk ticket and phone system.
Set up and remove PMG user accounts and email accounts.
Reset user passwords.
Troubleshoot basic issues related to computer and laptop connectivity and functionality.
Troubleshoot printer and scanner problems.
Troubleshoot Veradigm system issues.
Serve as the point of contact for both technical and clinical resources for PMG.
Travel to all PMG locations on a routine basis.
Provide end-user support, physician support, printer/copier troubleshooting, end-user training, connectivity issues, and user setup and termination.
Assist in computer and server upgrades and other projects.
Enhance clinical workflows and increase administrative efficiency.
