About The Position

As a Helpdesk Administrator at Fortress, you can expect to provide essential technical support to our team. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise in Microsoft products to resolve technical issues and ensure the smooth operation of our systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and play a critical role in maintaining our cybersecurity posture. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service or related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Experience using Windows 10 and Office 365 applications.
  • Strong interest in Enterprise Information Technology and Cyber Security.
  • Available on-site at least two days a week, 40-hour-a-week availability.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and related services.
  • Experience installing laptops in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience in an IT Helpdesk environment.
  • Experience in Windows administration.
  • Network+ or Security+, or related certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT onboarding and account creation for new employees.
  • Act as the first contact for the IT Helpdesk and manage a support queue of approximately 20 tickets per day.
  • Provide friendly and personable support to internal employees.
  • Manage assets inventory and purchasing.
  • Update user workstations and software.
  • Deploy software to users upon request.
  • Create distribution lists, shared mailbox, and other basic email (O365) email administration.
  • Support on-site users at company headquarters.
  • Manage permissions, user mailbox creation, and forwarding for various systems.
  • Other IT duties as assigned.
