About The Position

We have an immediate need for a Help Desk Technician to support an important government customer in Corpus Christi, Texas. Must have good phone skills and be able to enter information into a trouble ticket tracking system. Windows, MS Office, and other Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) application troubleshooting skills. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to take direction and work without constant supervision.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE A PUBLIC TRUST
  • Good phone skills
  • Able to enter information into a trouble ticket tracking system
  • Windows, MS Office, and other Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) application troubleshooting skills
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to take direction and work without constant supervision
  • Phone Etiquette
  • Basic Windows, Office, and COTS application troubleshooting skills
  • 1 year IT experience

  • Advanced Windows, Office, and COTS application troubleshooting skills
  • Active Directory Experience

Responsibilities

  • Answer the main Help Desk phone, enter trouble tickets, and assist customers with issues over the phone if possible.
  • Assist walk-in users.
  • Limited Troubleshooting of OS, application, printing and network issues over the phone.
  • Create and/or update SOP’s and documentation.
