Position Purpose: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide internal technical assistance and support to the firm with computer systems, hardware, or software issues. Specific Demands of Position: Special projects may run outside of normal business hours.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of technology and support experience
  • Customer Focus
  • Communicates Effectively
  • General support and troubleshooting for both Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Office 365
  • General hardware and software support, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of networking basics, configuration, and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the firm with continuous and efficient technology service delivery by monitoring and responding to service requests and incidents, within a defined expectation.
  • Deliver proactive communication and education to BHDP staff related to technology services.
  • Coordinate technology training for new employees.
  • Repair and replace equipment as needed.
  • Configure, deploy and maintain all company owned end user devices, including but not limited to: laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
  • Deliver technology support during business hours and provide technology support after hours.
  • Support the onboarding and off boarding of employees including assignment or removal of security, hardware, software and peripherals.
  • Procure and deploy new hardware and software.
  • Perform application upgrades in accordance with recommendations.
  • Coordinate technology for employee moves and new office setup.
  • Support technology process improvements to further improve the firm.
  • Research and test new technology that aligns with business needs.
