About The Position
Quality Floor Service is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Help Desk Specialist to join our team. As a family owned and operated business, we take pride in delivering top-notch hardwood flooring services to our clients in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong technical background to assist with troubleshooting and resolving IT issues. This is a full-time, remote position with a competitive salary ranging from USD 35-55 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems
- Knowledge of network protocols and basic troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Customer-oriented with a strong focus on providing exceptional service
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or chat
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install and configure computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issue resolutions
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions to recurring technical problems
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and provide recommendations for improvement
- Train and educate team members on new systems and processes
