About The Position

The Help Desk Intern will learn how to deliver supreme customer service while supporting BHG’s Corporate and Field team members and treatment centers. The position will provide exposure to the following computer disciplines: Service Desk, Desktop Software Support, Computer Operations, and others.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program closely related to the field
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Self-starter with good time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of IT systems, software, and procedures
  • Problem solving skills independently or escalate if necessary
  • Handle multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis if necessary
  • Strong organizational and management skills when dealing with companies hardware
  • High integrity

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to make decisions and use proper judgment with confidential and sensitive issues

Responsibilities

  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
  • Organize and maintain IT resources
  • Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory bodies, as well as accrediting agencies
  • Complies with all federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements
  • Complies with all accrediting agencies
  • Participate in community and public relations activities as assigned.
