About The Position

Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a Heavy Truck Driver to transport personnel and cargo, fuel, and ammunition using a range of vehicles, including large tactical vehicles, buses, forklifts, dually trucks, gooseneck trailers, refrigerated trucks, and UTVs. The role includes loading and securing cargo in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and vehicle capability, conducting operator-level vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance, and performing ammunition warehousing and aerial resupply duties. The driver must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental United States and foreign countries, work shifts, weekends, and holidays, and meet the role's physical requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL license.
• Ability to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental United States and foreign countries.
• Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening and be subject to random drug screening.
• Ability to work shift work, holidays, and weekends.
• Must obtain a HAZMAT CDL and Tanker endorsement within 60 days of hire, as duty requires.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, good physical condition, and ability to work outside.

Nice To Haves

• CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements and no air brake restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles to transport personnel, cargo, fuel, and ammunition over specified routes.
• Load and secure cargo in accordance with Federal, State, Ft. Polk, and Valiant requirements and vehicle capability.
• Perform operator-level inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Perform ammunition warehousing duties, including accountability, storage, delivery, and distribution.
• Perform aerial resupply tasks, including pallet building, loading, delivery, and recovery from designated airfields or drop zones, as well as parachute recovery.
• Perform other duties in accordance with Mission Support Requirements as directed and other duties as assigned.
