About The Position
Operates a truck having a factory-rated capacity of 5 tons and over, or a tank truck having a capacity of over 1200 gallons as a major work assignment and performs operational maintenance; may perform manual work tasks in connection with general construction and maintenance work; and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must meet all minimum qualification requirements
- Must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States
- ONE (1) YEAR of work experience in the operation of trucks having a factory-rated capacity of more than one and one-half tons; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B, with Endorsement N (Tank vehicles 1,000 gallons or more capacity)
- Must have no restrictions relating to codes E (manual transmission), J (automatic or synchromesh transmission) and L (air brakes) at the time of application
- A copy of your CDL must be submitted at the time of application
- If selected for this position, you must transfer your out-of-state CDL to a Hawaii-issued CDL prior to your employment start date
