About The Position

Super Products LLC is seeking Heavy Truck Assemblers for their Mukwonago, WI location. This role involves complex mechanical assembly and installation of various components, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. Assemblers will collaborate with a team to maintain production efficiency, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly challenges. Super Products LLC, an Alamo Group Company, is a growing manufacturing company with a new headquarters in Mukwonago, WI, designing and manufacturing high-quality vacuum truck equipment since 1973. The company prioritizes safety and offers a safe and healthy work environment where employees can grow. Under minimal supervision, the assembler will put together component parts into a finished product by following blueprints, work orders, and other written or verbal instructions, positioning parts based on specifications and experience.

Requirements

  • Trained in one cell at an average skill level
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools
  • Above average mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on attitude and ability
  • The ability to meet assembly deadlines
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment
  • Able to work overtime and/or including weekends as production schedules dictate
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1-year mechanical experience required

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components
  • Produce assemblies with zero defects
  • Set up assembly job by locating parts and gathering materials by work order
  • Align components and assemble together using hand tools or portable power tools
  • Drill, tap or ream holes as necessary
  • Connect auxiliary pneumatic or hydraulic lines and cut/fit pipe and tubing as necessary
  • Remove small quantities of metal using hand tools to clean parts or produce proper fit
  • Follow established safety procedures
  • Complete assemblies within the allotted time
  • Properly document all quality checklists, material lists, and PDI forms
