About The Position

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking a Heavy Maintenance Crew Member for its Heavy Maintenance Division. The role involves work across multiple aspects of the petroleum industry, including installing sumps and retrofit kits, entry fittings and piping, and setting dispensers and pumping units. Related work may include concrete work, electrical work, environmental cleanup, and disposal of old equipment. The position involves traveling to job sites, which may require overnight stays, and working outdoors in all types of weather.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift 75–100 pounds when necessary to perform job duties.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and work well with others.
Strong work ethic.
Reliability.
Attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the petroleum industry and familiarity with petroleum products.
Installer certifications in the product line.
Equipment operation experience.

Responsibilities

Use heavy equipment to dig ditches and manually install equipment.
Perform concrete work, including framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing.
Travel to job sites, potentially staying overnight.
Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to support the timely flow of supplies, materials, and subcontractor work.
Follow safe work practices at all times.
Maintain safe housekeeping practices, including cleaning up job sites at the end of each day.
Follow company procedures.
Keep the company vehicle clean and maintained.
